Wake up early to start your mountain journey into the high Himalayas. Specifically, our team picks you up from Rishikesh at 7:00 AM sharp to drive toward Chopta. You travel through historic mountain towns like Devprayag, Srinagar, and Rudraprayag. Consequently, you watch the pristine river confluences and valley scenery change quickly outside your window.

You will arrive at the unspoiled alpine meadows of Chopta by the late afternoon. Immediately find your premium Deluxe Camp accommodation and settle in quickly to adjust to the 7,874-foot altitude. Later that evening, gather with your team for a freshly prepared vegetarian dinner. Ultimately, your tour leader provides an essential safety briefing to prepare you for tomorrow's summit.

TREK DISTANCE: 10 km Round-trip | TIME: 5–6 Hours | MAX. ALTITUDE: 13,123 ft

Savor a hearty breakfast before launching your highly anticipated summit push promptly. Initially, you begin the steady climb through rhododendron woods toward the ancient Tungnath Temple. Because this trail features a gentle to moderate gradient, the ascent takes about 3 to 4 hours. You pause briefly at the sacred shrines before continuing the steep climb directly to Chandrashila Summit.

You ultimately stand victorious at the magnificent Chandrashila apex at an elevation of 13,123 feet. Specifically, enjoy your packed lunch while soaking in a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Chaukhamba. Afterward, begin your downhill descent immediately to return to the safety of your Chopta camp. Settle in by evening to watch a dramatic meadow sunset and rest your body fully.

HIKE: 2 Hours | Return Drive to Rishikesh & Delhi | ALTITUDE: 13,123 ft to 640 ft

Start your morning early and leave Chopta immediately after checking out of your camp. First, enjoy a short drive to the picturesque Sari village to begin your lake hike. Next, launch a brief two-hour trek up to the sacred alpine waters of Deoriyatal. Upon arrival, you can witness the mighty Chaukhamba peak reflected perfectly across the glassy lake surface.

Hike back down to Sari village to enjoy a satisfying local lunch before your departure. Immediately afterward, board your vehicle to start the long drive back to Rishikesh. Consequently, this return transit takes up most of your afternoon hours. You will reach Rishikesh around 11:00 PM before boarding your overnight connection back to Delhi to conclude the trip.
