Day 1: Arrival in Chopta (7,874 ft)

Morning: Scenic Drive from Rishikesh

The journey starts early. Initially, we pick you up from Rishikesh at 7:00 AM sharp. Immediately, drive toward Chopta. Specifically, we travel through Devprayag. Furthermore, we pass Srinagar. Subsequently, we go through Rudraprayag. During this climb, watch the scenery change quickly.

Afternoon & Evening: Camp Setup and Briefing

Upon arrival, we reach Chopta. Thus, find your Deluxe Camp accommodation. Therefore, settle in quickly. Rest and adjust to the 7,874-foot altitude. Later that evening, gather for dinner. Afterward, attend a brief session. Your tour leader provides the introduction and essential briefing. Ultimately, this concludes your first day.

Day 2: Summit Day! Tungnath & Chandrashila (7,874 ft to 13,123 ft)

Morning: The Ascent

The trek starts promptly after breakfast. Initially, we begin the climb to Tungnath Temple. Crucially, the trail is easy to moderate. Consequently, the ascent takes about 3 to 4 hours. Upon reaching the temple, we pause. Thereafter, continue the climb immediately. Specifically, we head for the Chandrashila Summit. Ultimately, we enjoy spectacular views from 13,123 feet.

Afternoon & Evening: Summit and Return

Eat your packed lunch at the summit. Afterward, begin the descent immediately. Therefore, we trek straight back down to Chopta. Finally, arrive back at camp by evening. In addition, enjoy the beautiful sunset from Chopta. Subsequently, rest and recover fully. Overnight stay remains in the camps.

Day 3: Deoriyatal, Reflection, and Departure

Morning: Lake Hike & View

We start early today. First thing, leave Chopta immediately. Subsequently, drive to Sari village. Next, we begin the short hike to Deoriyatal. In total, this takes about two hours. Upon arrival, reach the lake. Then, finally, enjoy the view fully. Specifically, see the mighty Chaukhamba peak reflected perfectly on the water.

Afternoon & Evening: Return to Rishikesh

After the view, we hike back down. Initially, reach Sari village for lunch. Immediately afterward, start the long drive back to Rishikesh. Consequently, the journey takes most of the afternoon. Therefore, expect to arrive in Rishikesh around 11:00 PM. Ultimately, this concludes your Himalayan adventure.
