Day 01 :

Haridwar to Guptkashi

Morning

Your journey begins with a 220-kilometre drive from Haridwar to Guptkashi. This trip typically lasts about 7 hours. Along the way, you will stop at Devprayag. Here, you can watch the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet to form the Ganga. Consequently, you should take this opportunity to snap several photos of these iconic rocks.

Afternoon

Continue your drive through the winding mountain roads. As you travel, enjoy the changing scenery of the Himalayan foothills. You will likely spend most of your afternoon transit in the vehicle. Therefore, use this time to observe the local landscapes as you approach your destination.

Evening

You will arrive at your hotel between 5 and 6 p.m. Once you check in, take time to unwind from the long drive. Afterward, eat your supper between 8 and 9 p.m. Since the next day’s voyage starts early at 2 or 3 a.m., we recommend that everyone gets plenty of sleep immediately.

Day 02 :

Guptkashi to Kedarnath

Morning

The day begins with a 32-kilometer journey to Sonprayag. From there, you will take a 5-kilometer ride in a public cab to reach Gaurikund. Once you arrive, take a plunge in the sacred hot spring water. Many believe this ritual purifies those who participate.

Afternoon

After your bath, begin the trek toward the Kedarnath temple. You will navigate the mountain trail while enjoying the high-altitude scenery. Ensure you maintain a steady pace to reach the temple complex before the sun sets.

Evening

Arrive at the Kedarnath temple in time for the spiritual evening aarti. Following the ceremony, have your supper between 8 and 9 o’clock. Finally, retire to a hotel or ashram for the night to recover from the day's journey.

Day 03 :

Kedarnath to Guptkashi

Morning

Rise at 3 a.m. to perform your darshan and puja at the Kedarnath temple. Afterward, walk approximately 1 kilometre from the main mandir to visit the Bhairavnath temple. You should also visit Bheem Shilla during this time. This massive rock famously protected the Kedarnath temple from destruction during the 2013 floods.

Afternoon

Begin your descent back to Gaurikund. Once you reach the base, travel to the Trijuginarayan mandir. At this sacred site, Lord Vishnu witnessed the wedding of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Subsequently, continue your journey to visit the Vishwanath temple before heading toward your lodging.

Evening

Check into your accommodation to rest after the long trek. You will then eat your supper between 8 and 9 o’clock. Finally, use the remaining hours of the night to relax and reflect on your spiritual journey.

Day 04 :

Guptkashi to Haridwar

Morning

Start your final day by eating a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Immediately afterward, proceed with your check-out. You will then board your vehicle to begin the return drive toward Haridwar.

Afternoon

Spend the afternoon traveling through the scenic mountain passes one last time. As you descend, watch the landscape shift from high peaks back to the lush valleys. Use this time to relax and reflect on your pilgrimage as the vehicle moves toward the plains.

Evening

You will arrive in Haridwar during the evening hours. At this point, wave goodbye to your traveling friends with a happy heart. Finally, drive back home to your loved ones. You can now share the legendary tales and life-changing experiences from your journey with them.
